Glasgow-Amsterdam
So I woke up at 5am before I slept at 2am and couldn’t go back to sleep so I decided to take a stroll to the local market to buy redbull just in case I fall asleep during the CTO live. (A CTO is a complete blockage of.your artery which restricts blood flow to your heart and can lead to heart attacks)
The local pub @5am. It get bright at around 4am during the summer and gets dark at 11pm.

The entrance to the Beardmont hotel.

My co-worker Christian giving a presentation on our new Product.

Me posing with our new.product at the booth.
I randomly bumped.into my.old boss from America in the middle of Ireland. How random is that??

Arrived in Amsterdam and 3 people are jogging right in front of the Airport. Dutch wheel of fortune?
So I suppose i have to get used to the crazy business travel lifestyle…

Amsterdam-Glasgow (Golden Jubilee CTO meeting)
Arrived in Amsterdam last night and already going to Glasgow, Scotland for a medical device conference at the Beardmore Hotel. I swear this business trip life is going to wear me out fast but I am going to love going to all these different countries with a purpose! So from Schipol I took the Holland Airline called KLM, which I do not know what it means. I took my carry on Tumi 22 inch suitcase with my briefcase for the purpose of being able to carry it on the plane, but they told me to check in the suitcase because of the aircraft was crowded, so theres goes my 540 dollar bag in the hands of reckless employees. Oh well.

The view of Glasgow from the airplane. It reminded me of the Lord of the Rings where the Hobbits are. Lets see if I can find any midgets.

This was my first time where a full on MAC was included with my room at the Bearmore Hotel where I am going to stay for a night. Free wire-less and a computer…hmmmm what should I do with it??? LOL

What a waste for me to sleep in this bed all by myself!

Since the hotel food is ridiculously expensive, my co-worker and I decided to walk to a restaurant a kilo away and found the city hall which looks like it was built a million years ago.

At a local restaurant and ordered local food. For 10 pounds, it came with a starter which was 3 garlic bread with cheese, and the picture below which was a something beef pie, and a big glass of local Ale! Not bad hu.

Me posing in front of the Golden Jubilee Hospital which is connected to the Beardmore Hotel. We entered the Hospital as a short-cut to the hotel. I have never slept in a hotel connected to a Hospital before…

My impression of Glasgow is a very beautiful city with a lot of greenery and cows and a very big hospital connected to a very nice Hotel with a Mac computer and free internet. I can’t say that much yet since Im here for only a night and haven’t gone to the city center so hopefully next time I can experience the city life here!

First day in Amsterdam
I was in California for one week to see my grandma and friends before my business transfer to Amsterdam from 9 months working in Japan. Its my first time in Amsterdam and was immediately welcomed with hospitality.
After waiting for a shuttle bus which takes you to any hotel in Amsterdam for €15, I arrived at my Hotel called Memphis hotel which had the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in.
I am so glad and excited to finally get out of Japan to live in Amsterdam. Working in Japan had its good side but the corporate society lacks individualism and is too feudal to for my taste. Now there will be less bowing and kissing ass and can finally work my way!

Tumi Luggage
My first time ever paying a ridiculous sum of money for anything which is not worth the price, but hands down these Tumi luggages are a beast.
They roll good, doesn’t tip over, and fits a good amount of stuff for a few days business trip. Perfect for the travelling business man.
I got the travel pass briefcase which had the option of opening the briefcase to get your laptop scanned instead of taking it out, but so far i had to take my laptop out each time! What the hell is a travel pass for? I either have to complain to Tumi or to the security about this….

1st Poem Since High School
The day that never dies
Sunlight, devouring the moon
Moonlight, no more
Summer time in the North pole.

Jibber Jabber. Continue what you start!
Now this is the hardest thing to do. I have started many things in my life, but was never able to accomplish anything. It can be my self diagnosed ADD, or just my lack of concentration. Unless I’m told what to do, I drop it like its HOT! I started learning kanji, like 100 times, started this blog and only lasted 3 posts, read the first 30 pages of a book like 20 times and never finished it, worked in 4 different companies for not more than 1 year each, can’t stay in the same country for more than a couple of years, started a fight and backed out, bought gifts for my family but never sent it, wrote letters to friends and family but never sent it, read a self help book but needed a book on how to read a self help book, studied Chinese for 6 months and quit, took elective classes to brush up my skills but dropped all classes, studied Spanish for 3 years and quit, started my rapping career and made a few tracks and got bored, and I’ll be damned if I can even finish this post. Shit….come to think of it, I have grocery list of things I never accomplished. Imagine if I did. I would have been Einstein by now….well not quite.
I also have way too many things I want to do and I try to do it ALLLL at once and never finish anythings. Maybe this was the problem.
Working out and having fun is probably the only thing I never quit.
Good thing is that Im employed and I get to travel around the world selling medical devices..so no financial worries and I get to travel. WOOHOO!!
I believe every human being is capable of creating a goal and accomplishing it, no matter how smart or stupid. Its the persistence that counts. (btw my grammar is horrible so anyone willing to correct it be my guest)
Yes, I have told myself every day, but its so damn hard. No self help book helps because its hard to finish reading it. Action and procrastination is what separates success and failure.
So, I was just writing this blog since I hurt my back and don’t have the energy to go out on a Saturday night, and realized writing whats on my mind is the “self help”, the key to success. Wow. I just totally resurrected myself. This blog thing might be my path to Nirvana….without dieing.
So what am I going to do tomorrow when I wake up?…. ok ok ok one step at a time buddy…I’ll think about it tomorrow.
PHEW, completed something for once!
For all you bored people who read it, mad props and love.
